# EMT Car Parks

The **EMT car park** network, which belongs to the **Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Madrid**, also operates with an automated opening system using a **license plate reader**.

 

You no longer have to go to the control booth to validate your reservation: arrive, park and forget about formalities: approach the barrier with your vehicle without touching the ticket issuing button. The license plate reader will recognise your vehicle and will automatically issue a ticket with a **QR code** and your booking details. It is very important that you keep this ticket, as this QR code will allow you to enter and leave the car park throughout your stay.

 

If the automatic issuing of this ticket does not work, you can use the QR code that comes on your Parclick booking voucher. Either from the same document or from your mobile phone, scanning this code in the barrier reader, the ticket will be issued automatically and you will be able to enjoy your booking as we have indicated above. And if there is still no ticket issued, you should contact the car park staff via the intercom at the barrier. They will help you to validate your booking so that you can enjoy your Parclick stay in comfort.

 

In the event that you have overstayed your booking in the car park, you can pay for the extra time using the ticket you collected at the entrance.
